Provincial Nomination Programs (PNPs)

PNPs

Canada has total 13 Provinces and territories which has their own immigration programs (exception of Quebec) called PNPs. This program nominates the candidates who wish to apply their permanent residency. Each PNP has at least one immigration stream that is aligned with the federal Express Entry immigration selection system.

This program works if the workers have the skills, education and work experience to contribute to the economy of a specific province. To fill the application under this program, you must follow the instructions properly and submit a complete reviewed application to get the approval.

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is the province’s economic immigration program. It works in partnership with the Government of Canada through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

New Brunswick PNP

The New Brunswick Express Entry Stream is designed for Foreign Nationals with the skills, education and work experience to contribute to New Brunswick’s economy, who are ready to live and work in New Brunswick and meet the requirements for each stage of the Express Entry Stream.

Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP)

Individuals nominated by the Government of Alberta, together with their spouse/common-law partner and dependent children, can apply for permanent residence through IRCC as a provincial nominee. IRCC makes final decisions on all permanent resident applications.

Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP)

The Nova Scotia Labour Market Priorities stream selects candidates in the federal Express Entry system who meet provincial labour market needs to apply for nomination. Only candidates who receive a Letter of Interest from the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration may apply.

BC PNP

Skills Immigration is for skilled and semi-skilled workers in high-demand occupations in B.C. It uses a points-based invitation system. The process involves registering and applying online for the BC PNP and a paper application process for permanent residency.

Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP)

You can apply for a nomination for permanent residency through the Critical Worker stream of the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) if you are currently working in PEI. The PEI Critical Worker stream is employer-driven, allowing Island employers to fill low-skilled positions that they are unable to fill through the local job market.

Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP)

Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) offers you a way to immigrate to Canada. Through the SINP, Saskatchewan:
invites residency applications from non-Canadians who want to make Saskatchewan their home; and
nominates successful applicants to the federal government, so they can gain permanent residency in Canada.
